As I mentioned in my December Stitch Fix review, I’ve been paired up with a new personal stylist at Stitch Fix after I took a short break from receiving Fixes. My new stylist is still getting to know my style and fit preferences.

Unfortunately this Stitch Fix review for my January 2018 Stitch Fix box will be the first that won’t include any photographs of me wearing the items. The items I received just didn’t fit me well. I’ve gained a little weight over the holidays that I’m trying to lose. I’ll still include photos of the items my personal stylist sent to me and describe the fit so that you can Pin the items to your personal Stitch Fix Pinterest board.

At first glance, this jacket is SO “me!” I love it! Black is one of my most favorite colors and you’ll see it again and again in my mama capsule wardrobe. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit heart broken when I tried it on and it looked like a stylist straight jacket. :'(

The cut was a bit short on my long torso and the jacket fit me more tight than usual. I’m not sure if that’s attributed to my weight gain, or if it is cut a bit small. I usually gain weight on my lower half so it would be odd to have outgrown an item that’s for the upper half of my body.

This poncho is the one item from this Fix that fit well and fit my style. You can’t tell in the screenshot I posted (above), but it has side slits up the side that are very figure flattering. The color, a medium brown, is also one of my most favorite to wear because it flatters my complexion.

As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t own a purse (gasp!). The Minimalist in me just finds it unnecessary. This is a super cute bag, but I really hate the color. I have been considering buying a small purse so that I can carry my current book around inside, but I haven’t found “the one” yet. What purse do you like best?

I think these jeans could have been a winner. I liked the way they looked, and it seemed like they would have fit the shape of my body well. I needed a larger size. I couldn’t get them over my thighs!

This cardigan is just as stunning as it appears to be. I would have loved to add it to my collection, but I know that it’s not one that I’ll use enough to justify purchasing it. Plus- we adopted a puppy at Christmas and she will snag it with one jump and ruin it. Meh. I think I would have preferred if the cardigan was a thick wool fabric instead.
